Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s latest Bollywood offering is the romance, October. Sircar’s movies are marked by locations that are as much part of the characters as the lead actors. October is set in both Delhi and Manali.

Manali offers conifer-cloaked green vales and gurgling brooks for anyone looking for quieter retreats and super views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges beckoning from all directions.

Manali, defined by lush open valleys, forested walks, pretty wood and stone homes and glorious food, is Kullu valley’s poster destination. The Manalsu stream hurtling down to the Beas gives Manali its name.
