Music, debate, food & fashion at ‘The Festival of Bharat’

The Festival of Bharat (FoB) is a 21st century tribute to the majesty and the depth of India’s civilization. This 6-day multi-event festival offers a lot, including live evening music fest, a day time lit fest with talks and debates, nutritious Ayurvedic cuisines at the organic food festival, serene morning yoga sessions and meditation and a flea market and exhibition – entry for which is completely free.

The Festival, to be held from 9th – 14th May at IGNCA, Rajpath, New Delhi, will witness the presence of scholars, Grammy award winning artistes, rising new stars, and prominent public figures.

The FoB ‘Lit Fest’ features captivating discussions, talks and book launches conducted by The Indian Debating Union. The FoB ‘Music Fest’ includes award winning Indian musicians, as well as rising stars.

The live concert features Grammy Award winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt; Indo-Canadian singer, Jonita Gandhi, famously known as Toronto’s Nightingale; the internationally acclaimed Vikram Hazra, who tops the chart in Indian devotional music, the unparalleled and unmissable Shubhendra Rao and Saskia Rao-de Haas and celebrity DJ Shilpi Sharma, among many others.

Yoga, organic food, a flea market and a Bharatiya fashion show are also important parts of this unmissable event.
