The much-awaited New Delhi World Book Fair is set to begin from 5th January, 2019 with a new theme focusing on readers with special needs.

The 9-day long fair, organised by the National Book Trust, is sure to be a paradise for book lovers.

Be prepared to breathe in the UAE culture as Sharjah is going to be the guest of honour.

The fair, being held from 5th-13th January at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan area, will become a platform for book launches, panel discussion and dialogues.

To keep it interesting for children, activities promoting reading habits such as skits, street plays, workshops, panel discussions etc. will be organised in the Children’s Pavilion.

The National Book Trust of India will also organise cultural programmes such as Song and Drama Division, Sahitya Kala Parishad, etc. at the event. Such programmes are well appreciated and keep the audience engaged, at the same time showing the rich cultural presence of the country.

Those keen can buy Lonely Planet travel guides too at the fair.
