Henan, home to many Unesco world heritage sites and incredible landscapes is also known as the cradle of Chinese civilisation. It is indeed a place believed to be the birthplace of the essence of Chinese culture: Kung Fu, Tai-Chi, Acrobatics, etc. Here are some highlights of the destination not-to-miss.

The masterpiece of the Longmen Grottoes is the Locana Buddha, the biggest Buddha sculpture of the site that was sculpted in resemblance of the only female emperor in the Chinese history, Wu Zetian, a powerful empress who founded her own dynasty, the Zhou dynasty.
