Bhopal set to host its most loved international music festival

Madhya Pradesh’s capital of Bhopal is yet again set to host one of its favourite annual music festivals- Hriday Drishyam International Music Festival, over 2 days starting January 11th.

The festival, curated by Indian Cultural Music Ambassador Joe Alvares, is now in its 4th year, and is brought to you by Culture Department (M.P Govt) and M.P Tourism.

The essence of the festival is to feature exceptional national and international talent in all genres of vocal and instrumental music. There is also a promotional platform for local artists.

This year, the festival includes artists from Spain, USA and France, sponsored by their own initiative and governments.

11th JAN: Ustad Hidayat Khan (Sitar)
Lydian Nadaswaram (Piano)
Shefali Alvares (Bollyjazz)
Chandan Dass (Ghazals)

12th JAN: Anuradha Pal (Tabla)
Tyris Washington U.S.A (Gospel/Blues)
Joe Alvares (Rock/Jazz/Kathak/Flamenco)
Mame Khan (Sufi/Rajasthani Folk)

The concert performances are absolutely free to the public. There are no ticketed events.
The venues are Minto Hall, Ravindra Bhavan, Bharat Bhavan and Iqbal Maidan.
