Here is what she says about Escape Express: Participating in Lonely Planet’s Escape Express Contest has been a wonderful experience. This month-long saga, not only gave me the platform to pen down my life-changing travel experience, but also helped me reconnect with so many friends in the process of inviting them to rate my diary. Some said ‘beautifully written’ and others said ‘it had us truly smitten’. Thank you Lonely Planet for recognizing my efforts, my expectations you have beaten! Overjoyed, Elated, Thrilled, Enchanted – all credit goes to Lonely Planet India!

The experience of participating in Escape Express in her words: I came across Escape Express through Facebook and decided to participate. I had been itching to write about my group’s experience at Bedni for everyone to read. So instead, I wrote my Escape Diary – The First Snow – and asked them to read it online. I was extremely surprised when I found out that I had won (of course, secretly I was hoping that the judges liked my piece). It sure felt awesome to have won the iPad mini, but it felt even more wonderful to relive the trip with all my friends – all the ‘oh, remember that’ and the ‘we should plan another trip’ made it even more special. Thanks to Lonely Planet Escape Express all of us (not just me) had a great time.
